Severn Dean Lions raises and gives away tens of thousands of pounds every year. Almost everything we raise goes straight back out — to local people in need and to good causes here in the Forest of Dean and Gloucester, as well as to national and international appeals. Grants are made in line with our Grant Making Policy.

- Macmillan Cancer Support
- Lions Clubs International Foundation (LCIF) disaster appeals — such as the Turkey earthquake appeal
Welfare support for individuals
Alongside grants, we give direct, practical help to people facing hardship — for example essential household items (carpets, white goods and mattresses) through CCP Gloucestershire, and food vouchers for families at Christmas. We also support the Message in a Bottle scheme.
