Wherever you live, work or travel across the British Isles you are likely to come across members of Lions clubs and the Projects they support.
Lions are ordinary people who do extraordinary things. Helping others and supporting good causes throughout the United Kingdom. Globally we have more more volunteers in more places than any other public service organisation. We help others to make good things happen.
Every Lions club supports a variety of good causes and projects. Every day Lions are enjoying the organisation of remarkable and memorable fundraising activities.
Every year in Europe alone, Lions clubs members volunteer around 6 million hours of service and raise £88 million to support the needs of local communities.

About Severn Dean Lions
Severn Dean Lions Club is a registered charity (CIO no. 1178015), formed in 2018 and part of Lions Clubs International — the world's largest service club organisation. We are a small group of around twenty volunteers serving the Forest of Dean and Gloucester.
We meet monthly to plan our fundraising and to consider requests for help and grants. Almost everything we raise — tens of thousands of pounds each year — goes straight back out to local people and good causes. Our two biggest fundraisers are the Bonfire & Fireworks night each November (run jointly with Forest of Dean Lions) and the Wild Boar Chase mountain bike event each September.
